The Trust for the National Mall, along with partner Big Bus, will host a Midsummer Monuments Tour of the National Mall for Trust members. This tour will provide a unique view of the National Mall and upcoming and ongoing Trust projects. Learn more about becoming a member here.
The District Cup, an annual charity polo match held on the National Mall, was played at West Potomac Park and featured world-renowned polo player Nacho Figueras. All proceeds from the event benefited the Trust for the National Mall’s U.S. Park Police Horse Stables Revitalization project.
The Trust for the National Mall’s Women’s Leadership Committee hosted its Spring Hats Tea at the Plaza at Constitution Gardens on the National Mall. The event featured a discussion with Jean Case, author of Be Fearless, moderated by Cathy Merrill, President of Washingtonian.
Local event planner Nora Lee DC hosted cover 200 guests at its inaugural Mardi Gras Ball at the Whittemore House with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Trust for the National Mall—the official non-profit partner of the National Park Service.
Boy Scouts from across the Washington Metro area volunteered in helping the Trust for the National Mall preserve and protect the historic legacy of the National Mall. Boy Scouts completed a number of maintenance and beautification projects on the National Mall.
The Trust for the National Mall’s Women’s Leadership Committee hosted their 2018 Spring Hats Luncheon at the Hay Adams in Washington D.C. The event featured keynote speakers Lea Berman and Jeremy Bernard, co-authors of Treating People Well: The Extraordinary Power of Civility at Work and in Life.
