National Mall Roving Docents

You can be part of the National Mall’s future by becoming part of the first group of National Mall Roving Docents.

Trust for the National Mall Roving Docents will enhance the experience of the National Mall's 25 million annual visitors by providing information, guided tours, and engagement.

Roving Docents will walk the National Mall in pairs speaking with visitors and locals alike. Docents will be tasked with showcasing the park by connecting visitors to the National Mall’s rich history, directing them to current events and being advocates for the Trust for the National Mall and its mission. Docent activities will include giving interactive educational tours, engaging visitors and assisting the public with general inquiries and information, directions, etc.
