WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 4, 2013) – The Trust for the National Mall, the official non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to restoring and improving the National Mall, announced that Cameron Gilreath, Vice President for Public Policy at Time Warner Inc., and Paul J. Choquette III, Senior Vice President, Mid Atlantic at Gilbane, have been named Co-Chairs of the 2013 – 2014 Corporate Committee.
The Corporate Committee plays an essential leadership role in the Campaign for the National Mall by developing and fostering partnerships with corporations in the Washington region and across America. As Co-Chairs, Gilreath and Choquette will raise funds for the Trust and generate awareness through special programming and initiatives that engage corporate sponsors.
Cameron Gilreath is Vice President for Public Policy at Time Warner Inc., where she represents the Company before Congress and various federal agencies, as well as numerous industry coalitions, to advance its legislative and regulatory agenda. A graduate of Emory University School of Law, Cameron has been involved with the Trust since 2008, when she helped launch the annual Ball on the Mall and the L’Enfant Society, which she Co-Chaired in 2009-2010. Cameron also serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington Literacy Center, is a past Chair of Taste of the South, and has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Washington.
Paul Choquette, III is Senior Vice President, Mid Atlantic at Gilbane Building Company, a leading construction firm. In his role, Paul is responsible for overseeing more than 200 employees and three offices across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. Paul is active in several other community organizations in addition to the Trust, including the District of Columbia Building Industry Association and the ACE Mentor Program, where he currently serves as the Board Chair.
Joining Choquette and Gilreath as part of the leadership team for the 2013-2014 Corporate Leadership Committee are Vice Chair Sadhvi Subramanian (Capital One), Government Affairs and Law Firms Subcommittee Chair Janine Kellner (Coca Cola), and Real Estate Subcommittee Chair Darrel Rippeteau (Rippeteau Architects), and Technology Subcommittee Chair Marissa Mitrovich (Verizon).
Since it was founded in 2009, the Trust’s Corporate Committee has raised nearly $5 million and engaged more than 150 corporate sponsors for the Trust’s annual Benefit Luncheon and Ball on the Mall.
