Drake to Headline Music Festival for National Mall

A brand new fest is taking over the nation's capital.

Drake, The Strokes and Alt-J will headline the inaugural Landmark Music Festival, held inWashington D.C.'s West Potomac Park Sept. 26-27.

The two-day event will showcase more than 40 artists on five stages, and include a mix of up-and-coming artists and local talent. A limited number of $100 two-day passes are now on sale at landmarkfestival.org/tickets, before $150 passes go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. (ET). VIP, platinum and travel packages will also be available, and kids 10 and under get in free with a ticketed adult.

The festival will also stream on Yahoo Screen's Live Nation channel, and support the Trust for the National Mall's campaign to restore the iconic park.
