Jeffrey Ajluni Named Chief Commercial Officer of the Trust for the National Mall

WASHINGTON, DC (July 26, 2016) – Catherine Townsend, President of the Trust for the National Mall, has announced that Jeffrey Ajluni has been named as the organization’s new Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, Ajluni will oversee corporate partnerships, high net revenue development, marketing and events. Ajluni is joining the Trust’s strong new leadership team, following the recent appointment of Townsend as President. His first day at the Trust will be August 1, 2016.
Prior to joining the Trust, Ajluni served as Vice President and General Manager for FOX Sports Media Group in Washington DC. Ajluni has spent his entire career as an executive in the professional sports, media operations and live entertainment industries. He holds the rather unique distinction of having worked in the National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, National Football League, English Premier League and the National Basketball Association.

Over the course of his impressive career, Ajluni has worked with high-profile sports teams and organizations, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, Manchester United FC, Detroit Pistons, and more. He has been hugely successful in spearheading corporate partnerships, community development, corporate sales, broadcast and new media sales, charitable efforts, community partner programs, and new business initiatives. He brings a depth and breadth of relevant experience, contacts and skills to the Trust for the National Mall.

Ajluni is a native of Bloomfield Hills, MI. and a graduate of Northwood University in Midland, MI.
Founded in 2007, the Trust for the National Mall is the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to improving, preserving, and restoring the National Mall. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service (NPS) and the Trust’s 9th anniversary as the premiere partner of the NPS.
