WASHINGTON -The Trust for the National Mall announced Thursday they're giving away 1,000 free tickets to theLandmark Music Festival for the preservation of D.C.'s National Mall, which happens in September.
The lottery site went live this morning and will stay open until 5:00 p.m. May 27. 500 names will then be randomly drawn to receive a pair of two general admission tickets. The lottery is starting over Memorial Day weekend, which the Trust says is a "particularly poignant time to remember the brave men and women whose sacrifices to ensure our freedoms are forever honored on the National Mall."
The first and very unique Landmark Music Festival will raise awareness and support for the Trust for the National Mall as they work to "restore, improve and preserve America's Front Yard for generations to come." The two-day festival features star headliners like Drake, The Strokes and alt-J. As well as a line-up of more than 40 performers coming together to take part in this entertaining occasion.
