Trust for the National Mall
Monday, April 2, 2012
The Trust for the National Mall will exhibit the final design concepts of the National Mall Design Competition from Monday, April 9 through Sunday, April 15. The concepts will be displayed for public viewing and comment at the Smithsonian Castle and the National Museum of American History.
The concepts, created by the country’s top designers, re-envision three prominent National Mall locations: Constitution Gardens, Washington Monument Grounds at Sylvan Theater and Union Square. The winning designs, to be selected by a Jury of design experts, will be announced in May.
The Trust for the National Mall is the official non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to restoring and improving the National Mall.
