About the L'Enfant Society
The L’Enfant Society supports the Trust for the National Mall by raising funds and awareness for the nation’s most visited national park. Founded in 2009, the L’Enfant Society has raised more than $1 million through memberships and events held throughout the year.
Each year, the L’Enfant Society hosts the Ball on the Mall, which is held on the first Saturday of May. The Ball is an elegant black-tie gala hosted in a stunning tent on the National Mall. With views of the Washington Monument and the Capitol dome, the Ball offers guests the truly unique opportunity to dine and dance on the National Mall.
The Ball begins with a VIP cocktail reception and formal seated dinner followed by desert and dancing. Supported by top Washington influcencers, members of Congress, Fortune 100 companies and the Diplomatic community, the Ball has become one of the city's most exciting and popular events.
