The National Mall is the place where 25 million visitors come each year to celebrate our nation’s history. It is our greatest civic stage, home to protests and presidential inaugurations, first amendment demonstrations and festivals. For Washingtonians, it is a place to run, play, reconnect and reflect. Unfortunately, despite its place in our hearts, the National Mall has been neglected and now faces a $400 million cost of repair. With cracked sidewalks and crumbling seawalls, and noticeably insufficient visitor facilities, the Mall is a disgrace. We need your help to ensure the National Mall reflects our country’s values to a standard of which we can all be proud.

The L’Enfant Society is comprised of young leaders who hold positions of influence in the business, government and philanthropic sectors.

The L’Enfant Society supports the Trust in its mission to raise funds to restore the National Mall and build awareness for the current state of the country’s most visited national park.

Each year, the L’Enfant Society hosts several high-profile events culminating with the Ball on the Mall, held in the city’s most exclusive location – the National Mall. With the moonlight and the monuments as the backdrop to this incredible evening, the Ball is the most unique and exciting young professionals’ event in Washington.
